Lottery Syndicates
Many people will have entered into a lottery syndicate at work to improve their odds of winning. The premise is quite simple; a group of people pools their money together and buys a number of tickets. Should one of those tickets win then the money is divided between the members of the syndicate.
However, some people having taken these simple syndicates beyond something they do with their friends at work for a laugh and turned it into a living. There are a number of online lottery schemes that closely resemble pyramid schemes were members are rewarded with cash for the people who they convince to sign up. Then in turn if those people then convince more to sign up the initiator will receive rewards for that too, and so and so on.
These schemes rely on people to promote the lottery syndicate themselves and they often do so in a number of interesting and inventive ways. For example, many people will use promotional gifts such as pens and t-shirts to advertise their syndicates. Business cards that are available from promotional gifts companies can also be used. These people will often leave their cards lying around the lottery terminals at supermarkets and corner shops.
A lot of people try make money using these schemes, but it takes quite a lot of hard work and ingenuity. The reality of it is that only people with a particularly obsessive or forceful personality will be able to have any success doing this.
